FFC/FPC Connectors

The FFC connectors are one of the most popular cable connecting solutions in today’s electronics. The FPC connectors help cables function as flexible printed circuit boards. Both types of connectors are used extensively in portable devices and medical equipment.  These connectors link a printed circuit board with a miniaturized form of ribbon cable that is also flat and flexible. The cable usually consists of a flat, flexible plastic film base with multiple flat metallic conductors bonded to one surface.
